Aceh Singkil Regency Human Development Index 2024

Human development is a process of increasing the choices that humans have, including the choice to live a long and healthy life, to have knowledge, and to have access to the resources needed to live a decent life. The Human Development Index is a statistical tool used to measure the success of human development. The HDI figure for Aceh Singkil Regency in 2023 is 71.14, meaning that human development is considered moderate development. When compared with the HDI for Aceh Province, during the 2019 to 2023 period the HDI figure for Aceh Singkil Regency is still below it. During this period, Aceh Singkil Regency's HDI ranking was in 18th position out of 23 districts/cities in Aceh Province. The components forming the HDI of Aceh Singkil Regency in 2023 include Life Expectancy (AHH) of 69.85 years, Expected Years of Schooling (HLS) of 14.35 years, Average Years of Schooling (RLS) of 8.70 years , and adjusted per capita expenditure of 9.3 million rupiah. When compared with Aceh Province, all of these components are still below it. By looking at the development of the HDI figures and their constituent components during 2019-2023, it can be concluded that the human development achievements of Aceh Singkil Regency continue to increase every year. However, this achievement is still behind when compared to most districts/cities in Aceh Province.
