Export, Import, Transportation and Tourism May 2020

The export value of goods from Aceh Province in May 2020 decreased when compared to April 2020, which amounted to 15,359,581 USD or decreased by 25.14 percent.

The import value of Aceh Province in May 2020 was recorded at 245,993 USD, this value has decreased by 31.41 percent compared to April 2020.

Aceh's trade balance in May 2020 experienced a surplus of 15,113,588 USD, or decreased by 25.03 percent when compared to the previous month. The percentage of trade balance changes on a year on year basis (May 2020 against May 2019) decreased by 61.56 percent.

The percentage of the total export value of commodities from Aceh Province exported through other provinces in May 2020 was 65.36 percent of the total commodity exports from Aceh Province which amounted to 15,359,581 USD.

In May 2020 the number of passengers recorded at Sultan Iskandar Muda airport only reached 987 people, or decreased by 88.31 percent compared to April 2020. In total in Aceh Province, the number of passengers in May 2020 reached 3,108 people, decreased compared to April 2020 by 72.87 percent.
